Admission
All attorneys of the firm are admitted to practice in the Federal Republic of Germany. Essentially, the following professional regulations apply:
- the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO),
- the professional code of conduct for attorneys (BORA),
- the Law on the Remuneration of Lawyers (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz - RVG)
- the Specialist Lawyer Regulations (FAO) as well as
- the professional rules of the lawyers of the European Community (CCBE professional rules).
These professional rules are available on the website of the German Federal Bar Association (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer) www.brak.de, there under the heading "Informationspflichten gemäß § 5 TMG".

Out-of-court dispute resolution
In case of disputes between lawyers and their clients, there is the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution upon request at the regional bar association Frankfurt am Main (according to § 73 para. 2 no. 3 in connection with § 73 para. 5 BRAO) or at the arbitration board of the legal profession (according to § 191 f. BRAO) at the Federal Bar Association, to be found on the internet via the homepage of the Federal Bar Association (www.brak.de), e-mail: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
Alternative dispute resolution in consumer matters
We are not willing and not obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
